Welcome to St Meriadoc CE VA Nursery & Infant School

St Meriadoc is a Church of England Voluntary Aided School with a very close working relationship with the local Diocese. We regularly attend church and local clergy take assembly once a week. Although we are in the heart of Camborne our school buildings are situated in private secluded grounds surrounded by trees. We have a large field and a wooded adventure playground which we use as often as possible. We strongly believe that outside play and exploration is vital to a young child’s all round development.

Our school motto is ‘Learn to Love Love to Learn’. Our ethos is based upon
Christian values and beliefs. We value each child as an individual and encourage them to become responsible and caring members of the community. We have an open house policy for parents and are committed to the ideal of a partnership in education between home and school. Our school is a busy happy community
where children really do 'learn to love' and 'love to learn’.

We have recently changed our website to incorporate a Learning Platform for pupils, parents and staff.  As a result of this the site is not fully up to date and is a "work in progress"!  We hope that you will bear with us on this until the changeover is complete. In the meantime we hope you enjoy browsing through this site and that it gives you a taste of what our Nursery and Infant School can offer.
